Race cancellations or delays will be announced on Twitter and hopefully Facebook (if internet is available), either the morning of or the evening before. Check Twitter first, as this I can send out immediately from my phone.
Remember that rain or “poor weather” is not cause for cancellation – only impossible riding conditions, like ice, snow, hurricane type winds, or some disaster like the Halloween storm of 2011 where it was virtually impossible to travel. We’ve never canceled for a Nor’easter.
Pending weather conditions the promoters/officials have the right to shorten events.
